Silverleaf Resorts - High Pressure and you won't get into a resort of your choice.
Bought a timeshare with Silverleaf and went back for what they called changes to their programs. Turned out they wanted to upgrade and get more money out of us.
Well after 5 hours with the representative we upgraded to Presidential. It ended up costing us more money and another hour waiting to sign papers. I was there with my husband and handicapped daughter and they just wouldn't let us out the door. They rushed us through the signing of the papers and promised for 2 months no payments.
Well, that turned out to be only 1 month. When I reviewed the papers which was after the 5 days cancellation fee, turns out I signed for a 9 year loan not a 7 for which I originally had. They are a rip of company and there sales people are just a bunch of liars and clowns. One man said he was a corporate lawyer in NYC but left because he could make more money in timeshare.
Yeah, ok I believed that...NOT. Anyway, I'm stuck with a timeshare where I can never get time at a Orlando resort. The only good thing about Timeshare is RCI and the pages and pages of resorts, though those are hard to get sometimes and then you are paying the exchange fee. Anyone thinking of purchasing through Silverleaf, DON'T DO IT!
When you are late 1 day, they will bombard you at work, home and if they have your cell phone, call you on that as well.
One day I counted 4 calls on each phone number given.
