I can't sell my Silverleaf Timeshare - HELP !!

Silverleaf Resorts complaint by Charitygirl
I have heard this over and over again.... I talk to owners everyday who can't sale their Silverleaf Timeshare, they have paid for advertising and have even paid companies monies to sale them.

Silverleaf keeps changing its bonus time and now their bonus docs read that if you transfer it the "Bonus Time" will not transfer. That means that you will pay over $700.00 a year for ONE WEEK ....

It is just a mess..... I work with a charity that is looking for Silverleafs for their donors and so if you can't sale it and do not want to own it any longer.

Donate it ..... get up to a $5000.00 Tax Credit -- and there is no cost to you and it will be out of your name within a few weeks. Yes, it is that easy.

The website says that your timeshare has to go through an approval process but right now -- We are approving ALL Silverleaf Resorts no matter where, size, or season.

if you are interested and love animals go to -- www.trejesto.com

Thanks for Reading and Good Luck

The website for this charity says that it is a tax deduction not credit. What one is it?

Looks like I'll just have to take these people to court. It doesn't appear that they are willing to budge an inch even with the threat of a BBB report.

If that doesn't resolve anything then I'll donate it. Because I won't be wasting my time and gas on anymore of these trips.

My first trip was a complete disaster.

I scheduled my first trip at The Villages because of the water park. My daughter and I drove all the way out to The Villages from Ft. Worth which happens to be the furtherest one in East Texas. When we got there a very rude girl told us that we were not booked there we were booked at Holly Lake which was about 45 minutes away. So we had to drive out to Holly Lake which took us about 2 hours to find because we got lost. Holly Lake was not exciting for us at all. There was nothing there that we couldn't do at home. No great attractions other than the golf course. Since we don't golf it really wasn't condusive to our specific needs or enjoyment. The pool was too crowded because that was all there was to do.

I have not had good experience with this company at all. When I first signed up with this company I was in a relationship with a guy...the sales people talked me into giving them some names and #'s of friends so I talked my boyfriend in letting me use some of his friends names and #'s too. Not long after that we started getting calls from all of our friends telling us that they were being harrassed by these sales people. Some were saying that they were getting more that 7 or 8 calls per day every day even after they were asked to stop. It was so embarrassing. My boyfriend had a couple of friends who were saying that I was an idiot and a pshyco for for signing up with a company like this and one even asked him what the *** was wrong with me. Needless to say about a week after all of this went down he dumped me because he said that I make bad decisions with money.

If I can't cancel my membership I will report them to the BBB and I will spread the word to all of my friends and family about how rude the people are at the resorts and how all the hype is nothing but a load of crap.

There is absolutely nothing fun or exciting at these places that you can't do at home. Save your gas and time people...it's a waste of money.

Anyone trying to get out of a timeshare donating it will be your best option. Unless you plan on taking them to court. Tell your friends and family to stay away from timeshares they are a financial head ache.
