Silverleaf Resorts - Timeshare Review from Richmond, Texas

I also had the same experience with everyone who wrote down these reviews. It *** me off when people cannot tell you the truth all in the name of 'selling'. Then after they succeeded in persuading you into buying the time-share you are now faced with another stress of making reservation for vacation. Whenever you call the 1 800 number someone pick up and say they are experiencing high volume call, they ask for a number to call you back but never did, some of them are so ride when they talk to you on the phone. I'm really really sad because my husband and I wanted to start planning for vacations with our kids but we are really disappointed with Silverleaf resorts. I can never recommend anyone to such deceiving people...what is the need of getting a time-share when you can never get to use it...sad sad sad...

For others who read this review, you don't have to buy anything to get out of there, just get up and leave. That's what I did this week and haven't heard back from them. You won't get your gifts, but trust me, they are not worth it.

Silverleaf Resorts in Markham, Texas - Awful treatment

Visited place in Conroe tx. The sales man was very nice I enjoyed the tour. BUT then the high pressure sales was terrible I was called a foul at the end by one of the higher ups. He never gave me this name. Short gray headed man in a blue suit . I have never been treated as low an unprofessional as he treated me. I do a lot of traveling, us Canada Europe and have always been treated with respect, if I saw this man on the side of the road and he needed help I would not stop.

This is one of those timeshare "scams". They don't really scam you, but they will pull every dirty salesman trick in the book to get you to come to their tour, and once you do, they will basically pull such a hard sale on you that you feel obligated to put in about...

My fiancé and I filled out a paper at Chicago Ridge Mall. A week or two later I got a phone call saying I won and so on and so on. With my ***, I made an appointmen and had to go to Lombard to claim my prize. A day or two later my fiancé got the same call as I did. We...

You made a good choice by refusing their offers. Once you buy into a timeshare, any timeshare, you are stuck for life and after you die your family is stuck with all the monthly fees.

Silverleaf Resorts in Arlington, Texas - No re-schedule options

We paid 40.00 at Mayfest. We were offered the Great Wolf lodge stay as well as rangers tickets and our 40.00 reimbursed. We had to reschedule. I called the day before when I found out and they said it had to be 24 hours in advance of appointment time. It was 23. They said I could come tour but would not get any prizes. I threw a fit on them and they said they would call me. They called back and unfortunately my husband scheduled when I could not go. I called and they said sorry there is only a 1 time rescheduling policy. They salesperson at Mayfest did not tell us any of this and also when you sign up there is not even a phone number to reschedule. Very unaccommodating. Why would I buy a timeshare with them if they cant even help someone who might be a future customer. Lost my 40.00. Lesson learned.

Silverleaf Resorts - Free Trip Review from Houston, Texas

I won a "free trip" to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. I had to front $40 on the spot but received a $40 gift card in the mail along with instruction to visit their property. There I had to front another $100 to be reimbursed on my trip. We chose 3 travel dates and they said that the only one available was in November. I have checked Great Wolf Lodges website 4 straight days and the July dates are available. They are a rip off. Needless to say thankful for a good job where I can go to Great Wolf Lodge without those idiots.

My husband and I went to one of their 90 min tours this Sunday evening in Georgia (thanks to me being suckered into going from free gifts). It was horrible like everyone else has stated the 90 min tour turned into 3 and a half hours, they were out of most of the...

Silverleaf Resorts in Dallas, Texas - Fort Worth Rodeo - Silverleaf SCAM

THEY LIE~ We were told we could let our children (older) play in the waterpark while my husband and I listen to the sales pitch. They lied. We booked our trip and as we were told by sales/advertising guy. Well, if its not done in a certain amount of time YOU LOOSE your visa card gift of $40. They lied to us on that too so lost the $40 card. We are NOT allowed to stay on the resort instead they book you into a cheap motel and drive to and from the resort. Hello....that is not experiencing the resort. The whole thing is BS. We have decided to unbook our trip and vocalize our experience every chance we get when we see these people promoting Silverleaf. Instead of listening to more lies and sales pitches to get us to buy into the time share, we, my family are going to San Marcus to river tube, see the caverns and shop.

I own a Silverleaf time share and my wife and I are taking our 2 grandsons to Hill Country Resort at Lake Canyon on the Guadilupe River. We will enjoy the same experiences as the guy going to San Marcus and more for a week and we will enjoy a nice cando on the lake and not a crowded motel room with the added expense of eating out every meal.

Our lodging fee is $0.00 for a whole week. We took our kids with some friends several years ago and rented a condo on the Comal River. Our kids will tell you it was one best family vacations our family ever took.

We also took them to Mexico resorts and to Orlando Disney World for a week. Thank you SilverLeaf.

Same thing just happened to us, except my son spun the wheel game and won us 2 Seperate Vacation at the same time. We paid 80.00 which was the "tax".

Our papers we signed said we would Receive our vacation details in the mail in a few days along with our 40.00 visa card.

Well it has been two weeks and we didn't Receive anything so we decided to call them they said they don't have a resort, that it is timeshare. And yet thats not what the paper says. One of the vacations was for a brand new resort with a indoor water park that was located in San Marcos or Austin Tx I cant Remember which city they said.

both vacations were for 3 days and 2 nights including 2 adults and 2 children. The dude even gave my son some free tickets to ride go carts in the sand of the resort in Galveston Tx.

They agreed to refund us our money we paid. But this company is full of lies!!!!

Steer clear of Silverleaf/Great Vacation Getaways both of these names are in our signed paperwork. And last it says nothing about TIMESHARE!!!!!!!!!
