My wife and I called Silverleaf and spoke with a customer service manager. She explained to us they have received multiple complaints about the increase fees for Bonus time.

She went on to explain now, Silverleaf/Holiday Inn Vacation Club (HIVC) have NO plans (at this time) to eliminate fees. Also, if Silverleaf/HIVC received enough complaints about the fee increase, they may change fees or eliminate them completely. Which leads me to believe that this is just another way for HIVC ploy to get more money from Silverleaf members. Try to get us with $25.00 (Bonus time) and if that doesn't work, then eliminate the fee and make it look like their doing us a favor.

Furthermore when we asked if wanted to sale our timeshare she explained that we can sale it, no problem, but if we wanted to sale back to Silverleaf they would NOT pay for it and we would just sign/transfer our deed over to Silverleaf/HIVC.

We are now in the process of drafting a formal complaint letter to the President of Silverleaf, Pat Connolly, explaining our displeasure with Sivlerleaf/HVIC. We will keep up posted on any new updates.

Over the years my wife and I have attended a number of Timeshare meetings. We never wanted to buy (rent) a timeshare due to me being in the U.

S. AIR FORCE (26 yrs.) and would not be able to take full advantage of it. While living in San Antonio we attended a Silverleaf Resort meeting and bought a timeshare. The main reasons we purchased, was because I was retired and could take full advantage of not only the FREE BONUS time and the week we bought.

Now their (Silverleaf and Holiday Inn Vacation Club) sending us a letter stating we have to pay for BONUS TIME and increased the weekend fee by $25.00. We pay our monthly maintenance fees. They make more than enough (run the numbers) in maintenance fees, (which I also pay every month) not to charge us for BONUS time.

I'll throw my name in the hat if there is a CLASS-ACTION law sui Angry t. This is not right.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $1500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Location: 18270 Singing Wood Ln, Flint, TX 75762, USA

I agree COMPLETELY with other owners comments. Not happy about charges for Bonus Time!

We were told it would be free. It's expensive now as an owner; $200.00 for a week. Bonus from Sunday through Thursday SHOULD NOT be paid for. Holiday Inn is not honoring our contract as early owners.

It's too costly for us and want to sell. Holiday Inn's Buy Back Program should be illegal because they just want it all.

I'd have to sign over my Deed with No Payment from them. I am joining the Class Action Suit against Holiday Inn to recieve justice.

I also feel Silverleaf owners should not have to pay for โ€œBonus Timeโ€, that was originally marketed to us as free. Additionally, we own two deeds, and no longer are allowed to request bonus time concurrently for both deeds, when available.

Please added me to any petition, and or class action law suit. My email is deloney52@***.com

I agree pay maintenance fees every month and on time. they are constantly going up on prices.

now having to pay for bonus time is crazy. I would gladly sign a statement for a lawsuit.

We've been owners since 1998 when we still could tent camp at fox river resort. It was very nice back then.

Now we lost our bonus time and the fees keep going up. Not worth the time we spend there.

Include me in. My wife and I are so frustrated with all the changes Holiday Inn brought with them.

I as well am pissed they are charging for bonus time. Lmk if any class action is filed. Donโ€™t want to get taken advantage of anymore!

keep me posted. We have owned 30 years and bonus time at no fee is what has kept us. we have a signed contract that includes details of bonus time with initials and them marking thru any payment, but they still charge us since taken over by Holiday Hills.

I would love to join a class action lawsuit against Silverleaf. My bonus time was grandfathered in.

I have a binding contract.

It is illegal to add to a contract without owners consent. Very dirty business!

Let's go class action This is stealing what we bought.

WE also would like to join if a class action lawsuit is filed. Where can i find this information how to join?

We have same issue, use to have free bonus time for years and from this January have to pay a fee. It is illegal to change it.

Hello- I have been an owner since 1994. I am one of the reasons that silverleaf was able to build more resorts.

But now these Holiday Inn people want to come in and act like I am no body. Want more money. Forget that.

I paid my units off. I would definitely be interested in a class action suit because they are taking advantage.

Yes i would join

i would like to join if a class action lawsuit is filed. doesn't seem right that Holiday Inn can just take our signed contracts/deeds and make changes to them. they are signed legal documents.

Totally agree with you. The Endless Escapes Program should be Grandfathered and left alone.

That was the sole reason we purchased as well.

I had a rep tell me, I had enjoyed 17 years of it so its time to start paying for their upgrades... My answer was they have been upgrading prior to our purchase and every year since.

Strongly Agree! We called several times to complain after receiving the letter of paying for over 20 year Endless Escapes contract.

We have gone from using Bonus Time 5-7 times a year, to using BT 1-2 times this year. Count us in any lawsuit.

Over 22 yrs of free Bonus Time as per contract. As stated above weโ€™ve gone from using it 5-8 times a year to 2-3 since being charged per night.

Nobody is mentioning the $75/nt weekends, only the $25/nt weekdays. HICV has kissed in their (& our) chili. Good luck with using our endorsements for your/our company. BTW, how many of us Endless Escapes are still with HICV?

A great PR move would be to repeal the EE Bonus nightly charges. We are spreading the word about HICVโ€™s ignoring our EE contracts.

Rosene Vbg

Count me in too. Not happy with paying for bonus time.

If a Class Action Suit is filed, don't leave me out. We bought our TS with a condition that Bonus Time and Endless Escapes would "forever" be without fees.

Obviously that changed on January 9, 2019. My wife and I have been owners for 20 years.

I think they believe owners from 20/30 years ago are naive and won't care about a change in their terms and usage. They're wrong!
