My sister thought she won a free prize and it turned out that she paid for something that was supposed to be a free prize. The free prize ended up being a $79 package that she got stuck with without even receiving a receipt or some kind of paper trail that allowed her to view what she really signing up for (the "Free" gift).

Keep in mind that this all happened at the San Antonio Six Flags.

These people have no shame in steeling from the poor and not so experienced with shark thief's! Shame on you all for lying and steeling!!!!

Monetary Loss: $79.

Timeshare Advocacy International is the leader in timeshare contract resolutions!

If you have been a victim of deceptive sales practices during your purchase or upgrade of your timeshare we have the solution. We are the only advocacy group in the U.S. that focuses on deceptive sales practices within the timeshare industry that is accredited with the BBB .

Additionally, we are the only company to win in court against the biggest timeshare company in the U.S. Timeshare Advocacy International Wins Lawsuit against World’s Largest Resort.

In November of 2010 TAI was sued by the largest timeshare developer in the world for assisting timeshare owners out of their contracts with their resort. The charges ranged from violating the Tennessee Uniformed Secrets Act, Tennessee Consumer Rights Act, unauthorized practice of law, intentional interference with business relationships, civil conspiracy, breach of contract, unfair competition, procurement of breach of contract, and unjust enrichment. On July 19, 2012 it took a jury less than 45 minutes to deliberate and return a verdict of “Not Guilty” on all charges.

“We are excited to finally have this decision behind us so we can now focus on one thing, and that is our clients. During the last 2 years they have been trying to do one thing and that is to shut us up and bankrupt us through the court system. We always felt that at the end of the day a jury would see that TAI is in the business to help people. If the timeshare industry would stop lying and sell their product honestly we would be out of business,” said Sean Austin.

“The jury’s verdict represents a victory for free speech and free enterprise, and against corporate bullying,” said Austin’s attorney, Greg Oakley of DHPM PC in a press release.

Timeshare Advocacy International is headquartered in Mount Juliet, TN and currently has a staff of 19 that do nothing but consult, coach, and mentor timeshare owners who have been deceived during their purchase or upgrade of their timeshares. “We specialize in helping timeshare owners not only get out of their timeshare contracts if they were lied to, but we also help them understand what happened and how they were scammed so this hopefully will not happen again!

To Anonymous, and every one of you who are complaining:

GET REAL!!! Are you all really so gulible as to think that businesses actually give away free stuff without getting something back in return???

How many of you read the information printed on the papers you get, whether it ia a "Free 3 Day, 2 Nights Hotel Stay in LasVagas" or an Orlando mini vacation, etc.??? If you read the rest of the print on the papewrwork, you would see that: !. YES you WILL get a free stay, but 2. the travel agency who books your free reservation is charging a fee, not Silverlake Resorts!!!

Silverlake Resorts, Inc. does sell timeshare packages among other vaction packges, but they are picking up the bill for your hotel stay, so you can visit their resort and see for yourself how nice it is, and learn of all the other resorts they have that you can take your vacations at, should you choose! You are under NO OBLIGATION to purchase anything! They are still paying for your hotel stay, even if you have to pay something, like $79 to get the Vacation Getaway!

Check out the cost of your hotel room for ONE night, and you will see that the $79 for TWO nights is a great savings!!! Who do you think is picking up the rest of the Hotel's charges per night...not YOU! So, you had to pay a FEW BUCKS to stay at a nice hotel! For taking a 90 minute tour of Silverlake's resort, and listening all about their other resorts, and the vacation packages they offer, you get to spend the rest of your stay doing what ever you want...see the sights, visit various places of interest...all for $79, cheaper than the cost of a pair of shoes!!!

Come on, wake up! You are not getting something for nothing, greedy as you seem to be! But, you ARE getting more than you should when you campare the cost you would HAVE to pay, against the cost you are ACTUALLY paying for your "get a way vacation" package!

And for those of you who are complaining about a "maintenanceou fee" when you DO buy one of the packages, HEY, go figure out what you would have to pay for all the maintenance of the resort property, swimming pool, golf course, playground, stocked fish pond, cooks (if they have a restraunt) house keepers, who clean and get your room ready, then clean your rooms daily as long as you are staying there! Figure out what your would pay THEM yourself, then compare the measly fee the Resort charges, and you can see the big difference in cost!

Don't you think if you paid for a 2 week stay at a hotel or resort that is not in your plan you would save any money??? Over the years, the measly cost of your maintenance fees would be miniscule compared to what you would be paying each time you took a vacation at one of those other resorts. Don't you think they include maintenance fees for each night you spend at their Resorts???

You would be paying triple the fees over a lifetime, and you would not be able to pass on your vacation package to your children or grandchildren, or even let them go in your place. The money saved alone in hotel fees will give your family a nice chunk of change to spend on other things to do on vacation, instead of eating it all up with hotel bills!!!
