Silverleaf Resorts - Maintenance at Seaside Resort of Silver Leaf
none
My daughter and I are owners of a Presidential unit at the Apple Mountain Resort, in Georgia. This year we decided to exchange our time with something different and we chose as a family to visit the Seaside Resort in Texas, the week of May 13 - 20, 2016. We thought that as long both resorts belong to Silver leaf the quality of the resort will be the same. We couldn't have been more wrong. The grout at the tiles in the bathroom was coming off. The carpet at the connection between the bathroom and the living room was reaped and it had to be temporarily repaired with duck tape. The counters in the kitchen were sticky and dirty.
To tap it all Thursday morning, one day before our departure we found rat excrement on the kitchen counter. I brought it to the attention of the manager of the resort Kevin Lee, to whom I showed my collection. Of course there was no unit available to switch. Upon my return I found e-mails from Nicolotte Harper, National Director of Marketing Development, and Monty Boltinghouse, General Manager at Galveston Seaside Report. Two weeks past and I didn't here from either one. When I tried to call I found out that Ms. Harper is not longer employed by Silver Leaf and Mrs. Boltinghouse hasn't return my phone call in 3 days.
I didn't have any experience with bonus time, because I didn't try to get any since the acquisition, but I believe you when you say that we will have hard time to get any if the Holiday Inn gives preference to their clients. I suspect we will have to hand out a good chunk of money to become members of the same club, on top of our maintenance fees that increased over a year ago, but we didn't see yet the internet connection, the reason for the increase we were told, in the units. I am all for a class action. my e-mail address is :

I just me back from a meeting with Holiday Inn all they talked about was a point system which cost money they added 13 resorts to what silver leaf already had but want you to spend money to join. Spend money to buy points to go to where you can go for free does not make sense
They did not say anything about upgrading anything fixing anything
I did not buy into it and several people I talk to after I met with Holiday Inn said they did not buy into it either it was just a mess if there is a class action law suit please include me my email is gleddah@***.com thanks
If you are interested in getting out, we deal with Silverleaf owners quite often and we guarantee you out of the contract. Give us a call!

If you are willing to pay the full price I paid for this week, maybe I can consider it. As a member of RCI, always I can exchange my week with a week in a better resort.
Do yourself a favor and get on Ebay. There are hundreds of timeshares for sale for FREE/$1.
People just want out of their timeshare because of the yearly dues. Timeshares are just not worth anything sadly.
My company has attorneys that we are affiliated with that are not free but guarantee you out of the contract legally.
Please e-mail me. How to get rid of my time share.
I have a Silverleaf time share. At tbonehandiman@***.com
Holiday Inn is supposed to be going through all of the Silverleaf properties and upgrading all of them to Holiday Inn standards. With any luck the customer service will improve along with the upgrades.
I have considered selling mine. Not happy with it at all. Fastestmom1960@***.com
