Silverleaf Resorts - Unhappy Timeshare Owner

We have owned since 1994 and the bonus time was the main thing. I talked to the office yesterday after holding for several minutes, the call was answered, then I was put on hold and then disconnected. I called back and talked to someone, unfortunately I can't tell you if it was a man or woman or the name since most of them don't speak English, and was told our contract said the bonus time could be changed at any time. I haven't looked at my contract yet but have always been told that the bonus time was good since we had owned so long. The maintenance fees go up every year. We would like to get rid of the timeshare but don't know how to without being out a lot of money.

I am trying to change name on account that I added in. even though I paid for everything on account I need a death certificate of person I put on account. The state of north carolina will not let me pick up a death certificate because I am not related to her (person on account) when I enquire about how to fix they just say you need a death certificate they don't care if it is impossable and when I ask to talk with a supervisor they just hang up on me.

Vacation warehouse called to "confirm my appointment for tomorrow." I didn't have an appointment and I asked them who referred me. They got really angry and said "if you wanted to cancel your appointment all you had to do was say so." And now, in addition to it all, to share this information here I have to agree to be contacted by yet another unwanted company. Do yourself a favor and turn your phone off.

Silverleaf Resorts - Employees not doing their job

I requested a warranty deed for my timeshare and the customer service rep that had taken the information decided not to process this request. So now another 2 months had past by with no answer and no help. I am not happy with this time share as I know it was my own fault that I allowed them into scamming me into it. But needless to say I have been paying on it for the past 20 years and did not use it once.
