Timeshare is a waste of money unless an owner lives near the resort and can enjoy full use of amenities on a regular basis. Better to be a member of RCI ..use the last call weeks..
Last visit to Holiday Hills in Branson was terrible. Dirty sheets piled outside of door, a trail of ants, no remote for main tv. AC froze and maintenance called wanting permission to enter unit while we were gone. Tried to charge tax on pet fee.
At check in I was informed Holiday Inn now owner. Each bathroom had half a roll of toilet paper. Called 1-800 reached Holiday Inn that is all that is furnished. Then called Holiday Hills front desk rec'd more toilet paper.***Having been an employee of 5 star resort chains and my guest was head of customer service of Big Cedar Lodge for 9 years, we know the hospitality industry.
Timeshares have no resale value and are a burden to own. The salesmen lie, deceive and mispresent the product. My plan is to contact the Attny Gen. State of TX and also FL.
Usually they are the best avenue other than being part of a class action suit. Open to suggestions.
