Silverleaf Resorts in Albany, New York - Everytime i try to get three bonus days they are never available even durning the down time and then they give me this song and dance it is not always available but everytime no matter when

its hard to deal with them and when i try to sell it back that is even a biggger jokel so hard to get time and harder to use it . so they sell you a speal that gives you all this until it is time to use it. i only wanted three days and book the rest could not do that 2 years in a row and then i got told i lost a week cause i did not book ahead even tho it was my week that could not be banked. its a big rip off and i tell people they should not invest in time share cheaper to buy a condo over time and use it whenever you want thank you for listening.;

Silverleaf Resorts - Nothing but a rip off

We have been with Silverleaf for 15 yrs. We owned our Galveston week. Paid in full, the smooth talking sales people showed us how we could benefit from another week. So we bought a Presidential, got to where we couldn’t pay on it. Was told we couldn’t use our Galveston week. So we stopped paying the maintenance fee. To make a long story short,they took our Galveston week for a little over 1,000 in maintance fees. That’s not right and we would love to be in class action lawsuit.

I too am extremely upset with the new take over. Piney Shores now demands a credit card to check in and things went from bad to worse. Because of a server problem I lost my week. Count me in for a suit. I want my money back.

If you have a deeded 2 bedroom unit with a unit number, that is YOUR unit for that week. There is no reason or excuse for this to happen.

Contact Owner Services at 888-476-0991 and ask for Mr. Mark Baker. Explain the situation and what happen. I always recommend to keep names of who I speak with, dates and even time of call.

Document, document, document. They should give you a comp.

It will not affect your credit score since Silverleaf do not report to credit companies... check it out.

You will not find Silverleaf in your credit report... it is just a scare tactic!

Purchased a $79 Get-A-Way Vacation promotional package back in March 2012. Forgot all about it. Then started receiving phone calls, 2-3 times per day with a message that it was going to expire if we didn't use it. I called back and had to book a weekend to listen to a 90 minute presentation for timeshares. I agreed to do this since afterall, they had our $79. Well, I had an uneasy feeling from the phone conversation and looked them up online. I immediately called to cancel and to get a refund. After being hung up on, passed around from person to person, being kept on hold for 16 minutes, Monty finally came on the phone, told me he was the director of the refund department, worked there 13 years...yada yada yada. He was apologetic and guaranteed me our refund would hit our credit card within 72 hours. Guess we will see. It never was the price....we spend $79 dining out easily, it was the principal. I will let you know if we get our refund.
