Silverleaf Resorts - Where do I start?
I have been a Silverleaf Resort owner for over 20 years.Purchasing a Presidential with Endless Escape (paid top dollar).
And ever since Holiday Inn Resorts took over it has gone down hill. Once I was able to check out at Noon and now they require me to check out at 10:00 am instead. They now get upfront and incidental fee of $115.00 on a credit card and it takes too long to get it back. Take lots of pictures of anything in the room questionable.
During my stay they air conditioner never worked and remained at 79 degrees throughout, with no resolution from staff. When taking to the repair guy he said he doesn't even know who to fix air conditioners and is overworked and underpaid. TRUE! One morning I was awakened by a load sound of the front door being opened at 7 AM...
scared me to death. Fortunately, I have the metal door stopper over the door and they were not able to enter, but left the door ajar. I called front desk and they could not explain why! There were many cockroaches in my room during my stay, cracked shower floor where water is able to run out.
Cracked tiles in kitchen, missing pieces to refrigerator, and talk about dirty. The floor was dirty the bathroom sink faucets were dirty and the list goes on. The miniature golf is tore up and unusable. Wow!
And I refuse to go to any updates because of the strong armed way they make you feel like ***. The last one I went to I was threatened by the salesperson...NEVER again! He threatened to take away my bonus time and endless escape if I did not upgrade to Holiday Inn Resort ...seriously! But they make you feel like you are nothing and treat you like nothing if you do not.
HIGH PRESSURE tactics with empty promises. And the maintenance fees keep going up and up and up! With no maintenance being done!!!!
I am seriously considering dumping my deed but wow I paid so much for it.So disappointed is an understatement!
I liked: Location.
I didn't like: Room unit and staff, Resort and staff.
